Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. This role requires a proactive approach to managing user relationships and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experience in the healthcare sector. You will bridge technical innovation with real-world healthcare applications. The successful candidate will be instrumental in onboarding new clients, making technical customizations, optimizing user experience, and working directly with clinicians, administrators, and healthcare providers to streamline adoption of Knowtex.

Key Responsibilities

• Speak up for our active customers in Knowtex. Understand healthcare workflows and pain points to deliver what they need and make sure we go above and beyond for them.
• Assist new customers in getting started smoothly. Make sure their first experience is positive and sets the stage for a lasting relationship.
• Solve customer problems quickly and effectively. Work with our teams to find solutions that make our customers happy.
• Teach customers about what our platform can do. Help them get the most value out of Knowtex.
• Collect and understand what customers think. Use their feedback to directly implement technical changes to make our platform even better.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration guides, user manuals, and troubleshooting resources.
• Travel to client locations to support on-site integration and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare solutions engineering, EMR integration, or a similar role. Prior startup experience preferred. Bonus if you know HL7, FHIR standards, etc.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of EHR systems and healthcare IT workflows. 
• Proficiency in one or more server-side languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js, Python, Java, C#, Go, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services (EC2, Lambda, App Engine, etc.) for hosting and managing APIs.
• Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges efficiently and quickly.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences effectively.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
