What you will contribute:

• As the first product engineer on the team focusing on mobile, you will lead the development of Ambient's first iOS application from the ground up.
• You will be a lead driving iOS application and strategy.
• Implement customer facing UI that is intuitive, simple, delightful and optimized for iOS devices.
• Drive product roadmap and take ownership of several core components of the product.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers and engineering to solve challenging usability problems.
• Rapidly learn new developments on iOS to improve usability and performance.
• Guiding the iOS application through the Apple review process.
• Create a magical user experience for our customers.

What you bring to Ambient.ai:

• The ideal candidate has an obsession with user experience.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field with a least 5 years of experience building fast and intuitive iOS applications.
• Experience shipping one or more iOS apps, ideally currently available in the App Store
• Proficiency in Swift or Objective-C and knowledge of various iOS SDKs (UIKit, AppKit, etc.) and Xcode
• Personal projects that show an aptitude for technical excellence or product sensibility
• Advanced analytical thinking and experience with making product decisions based on data and A/B testing
• Experience with measuring product metrics
• Interest in innovations within the mobile industry
