As an early engineer to join our team, you'll have the opportunity to materially impact and scale not just the company's product but also the team and the culture. You'll get to drive key product initiatives end to end, and work alongside exceptionally strong co-workers who learn quickly and ship quality work.

Your role

You’ll join a small-yet-mighty team of 14 as an Engineering Intern.

We seek a highly motivated and talented software engineering intern to join our team. As a software engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and make a significant impact on Dashworks.

You are expected to work full-stack and take the code to production yourselves. You will be assigned a mentor who will guide you through the internship duration. We expect you to be hungry for responsibility, growth, and impact.

Your work may involve one of these areas:

• Work on improving our search results

• Develop integrations with third-party applications (e.g. Google, Atlassian, Microsoft, etc.) 

• Build tooling infrastructure for our high-velocity engineering team

Upon successfully completing the tenure of your internship you may be offered a full-time position in our Engineering Team.

You qualify if you have:

• Showed software engineering experience through prior internships, substantial side projects, or research publications.

• At least 3 months of availability for the internship

• Final year B.E/B.Tech/M. Tech/M.Sc. student

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Javascript. C++, Python)

• Familiarity with software development tools (e.g. Git, bash)

We’ll love you if you have:

• Prior experience with Python or React

• Worked with AWS services, Kubernetes, and docker

• Worked in a remote setup

• A love for your craft and the desire to pour your heart out into it

• An intuitive grasp of product-level thinking and system thinking

• A high bar for quality yet the agility to ship in weekly cycles

• Strong communication skills

Interview Process

1. 15 min chat for us to learn about your prior experience and side projects

2. An hour of a technical interview involving coding, and debugging

3. 30-minute interview to see if we have a mutual cultural fit
