Responsibilities
-Design verification and validation plan.
-Establish process to build model-based engineering workflow and to set clear expectation and timeline with partners.
-Plan, coordinate and drive effective and efficient CHIE (Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering) hardware, commodity firmware update, and building block qualification efforts with collaboration with product groups and cross disciplines.
-Work with partner teams to push quality upstream. Establish qualification pipeline using agile engineering methodology with efficiency improvement metrics over time.
-Debug and analyze issues for root cause and to help identify preventive measure.
-Provide feedback loop to partner teams / product groups to push quality upstream.
-Interpret data to provide information to answer business questions in both meetings and reports. Demonstrate impact to business solutions.
Qualifications
-BS/ Master degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
-5+ years’ system engineering experience.
-Product cycle experience overseeing project from inception to product shipping and sustain engineering.
-Strong debugging and technical problem solving skills, as well as a passion to solve hard, ambiguous problems. Experience with troubleshooting server system level issues.
-Experience working with software/hardware integration and debugging.
-Strong testing mentality and an eye for quality defects.
-Demonstrated capabilities in providing clarity and report presentation.
-Statistical analysis skill will be helpful. Six sigma training is a plus.
Demonstrated hands on experience in the following:
-Building and optimizing simulation, emulation, and/or verification environments, tools, flows, and methodologies
-System Integration, verification and validation for HW development, protocols, and related firmware.
-System debugging skill and server knowledge with good understanding of components interactions.
-Understanding of design for diagnosability and testability.
-Writing solid code with industry standard languages like Python or C/C++.
-Cloud services, Azure fabric, and protocols a plus
