Ever wonder how your medical history travels around your various healthcare providers? Believe it or not, many providers still use fax machines - and sometimes patients die waiting to get treatment while their healthcare records are taking weeks to be faxed in. Metriport gets these same records, at a higher fidelity, in seconds.

Metriport offers two core products:

Medical API: allowing healthcare providers to access and manage patient medical records from Health Information Networks and EHRs in the US.

Devices API: allowing digital health companies to access health data from popular wearable devices and mHealth apps, such as Fitbit, Garmin, and Apple Health.
What we're looking for
We're in search of resourceful and driven full stack engineers who have the following characteristics:
- Superhuman ability to build and ship product quickly.
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Motivation to make a large impact in the healthcare ecosystem.
- Growth mindset, sense of ownership, and excellent communication skills.
- "Can-do" attitude towards technical challenges and innovation.
- Ideally some experience with any the following (although not a hard requirement): HL7 FHIR, C-CDA to FHIR, IHE Profiles, Health Information Exchange, RLS, MPI, EHR, Carequality, eHealth Exchange.
