The Job
In this role, you will be joining the Data & Analytics team and be responsible for :
Developing robust and scalable data pipelines, AI capabilities and APIs
Identifying complex problem domains
Seeking creative ways to deliver on the company's ambitious product roadmap
Developing and maintaining backend microservices that measure, collect and process millions of events each hour, powering prediction models and analytics.
Participating in design and implementation of team coordination activities like reviews and retrospectives
Communicating effectively with product owners and UX designers to ensure smooth handovers
The Profile
You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
You have at least 3 years experience in a Software Engineer or similar role.
You have strong knowledge of Python and understanding of developing applications using Node.js
You are passionate about developing backend services that are performant, reliable and scalable
You are able to identify and address scalability issues within a microservice architecture
You have a strong understanding of browser web APIs, dealing with browser limitations as well as React SPA application and state management
You value analysing raw data to produce useful insights to drive decision making
You are willing to adapt to most suitable languages, new technologies or cloud product available
You appreciate analytical and uncharted technological challenges
You have strong ownership of problems and demonstrate initiative to assist team members
You have excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
