Position Description & Responsibilities
Lucid is seeking talented and versatile engineers capable of working with a hardware product.
-Developing algorithms to allow drones to autonomously fly in GPS-restricted environments
-Working with Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO) and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) systems
-Collaborating with hardware engineers in order to improve drone system
-Working with ROS, PX4 and Q Ground Control to help drones fly effectively
Qualifications and Requirements
This individual will possess the following qualifications and requirements:
-A bachelor’s degree or continued education in engineering or a related field
-Strong C or C++ skills
-At least 2-4 years of work experience
-Meet our culture of hard working, self-starting, and passionate workers
-Strong understanding of Computer Vision
-Prior experience with Machine Learning (CNN) is preferred
-Prior experience with OpenCV is preferred
-Prior experience with VIO and SLAM is preferred
-Prior experience with Python is preferred
-Prior experience with Ardupilot, PX4, and/or ROS is preferred
