About marketfeed. (YC S21)
We help our users understand “what to trade,” which leads users to make a consistent monthly income from the stock market. We are a team of 40, and our tech stack includes flutter, firebase, nodejs, react, and GCP. We are looking for 2-4 years of experienced Software engineers for our backend team.
Responsibilities:

Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions

Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications

Own up to committing and delivering features
-
Integrate software components and third-party programs
-
Program, test and deploy reliable and resilient systems
-
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
-
Recommend and execute improvements
-
Analyse and test programs and products before formal launch
Requirements:
-
2-4 years of experience developing and implementing software applications
-
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
-
Exposure to design principles, design patterns, and system design
-
Experience with deployment and configuration of a testing and deployment pipeline
-
Working knowledge in Software Engineering practices, Object-Oriented programming, CI/CD practices
-
Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment

Knowledge of coding languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, TypeScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g., NodeJS, Git, GCP, Firebase)

Experience with databases (e.g. Firestore, Realtime Database, etc.) and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks

Ability to learn new languages and technologies

Excellent communication skills

Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
