The Job
You will be responsible for :
Writing well-designed, testable and efficient code.
Developing applications and building backend services with responsive user-interfaces
Identifying ways to streamline and improve process, infrastructure, reliability and development speed
Using tools to identify defects as well as troubleshooting and debugging to optimise performance
The Profile
You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
You have at least 4 years experience within a Software Engineer role and have worked on large scale software projects
You possess strong knowledge of Javascript and Node.js.
Good knowledge of Cloud Databases (eg. AWS, Azure), PostgreSQL and Redis databases is required
You have knowledge of CI/CD such as Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI, etc.
Prior experience developing web services or SaaS products with stateless horizontal scaling and event-driven architecture is required
You have used various technologies like APIs, Microservices, Kubernetes, SQL, gRPC, MessagePack, Streaming
Having knowledge of SQL and NoSQL is a plus
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
