We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web frameworks, front-end development, and DevOps principles. As a member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of our web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular, Vue, or React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop web applications using web frameworks such as RoR, Django, Flask, or equivalent.
- Work with DevOps principles and tools such as Kubernetes, Gitlab, Docker, and Git to automate and streamline the development process.
- Contribute to the improvement of existing software and the development of new features.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and leadership to the team.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand business requirements and communicate technical challenges that are present.
- Work well within a team setting and comfortable providing and receiving feedback.
- Be a self-starter who can navigate complicated, open-ended requirements with minimal oversight.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in front-end development and web frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Javascript
- Strong proficiency in Angular, Vue, or React.
- Strong proficiency in RoR, Django, Flask, or equivalent web frameworks.
- Experience working with large established codebases.
- Experience with DevOps principles and tools like Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, and Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
