Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced software engineer who has 5+ years of backend (PHP, MYSQL) and frontend (Javascript) experience. Having 2+ years using Laravel and 6 months with React or other front end framework is a big bonus!

Must currently reside in San Francisco or willing to relocate.

Work Status: Must be a legal resident who does not need sponsorship.

Requirements for this role

• Experience engineering features for / consuming APIs
• Experience with hosted search engine API (Algolia/ElasticSearch)
• Experience building / maintaining Infrastructure (Heroku/AWS)
• Experience Monitoring/Debugging/Profiling
• Strong experience in software development lifecycle, from planning to production.
• Experience writing clean, modular code.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to build features and creatively solve problems
• Expand on current features while maintaining platform efficiency
• Create unit tests and maintain codebase
• Create tools to manage projects and their progress
• Maintain data and caching layer

Qualifications and Skills

• Laravel, PHP7, MySQL Master
• React (or similar JS framework)
• Experience with Heroku (or AWS)
• Experience with Git / Jira

Experience:

• Laravel: 2+ years

Salary: $115,000.00 to $135,000.00 /year
