What will you be doing:
- Create detailed software development plans and assign tasks to team members. Coach and mentor development staff.
- Develop Hubble software solutions by studying the requirements, use-cases, and process flow. Implement high-quality code in an agile, test-driven development environment.
- Assure successful execution of Hubble’s technical aspect in the enhancement, implementation, and deployment of Hubble’s product and service. Scope development effort, and provide reliable resource and timeline estimates.
- Analyze the operational feasibility of the software solution from the problem definition, requirements, and proposed solutions.
- Assist the collection and documentation of requirements, development of user stories and experience, estimation of timeline, and work plans.
- Collaborate with the team in formulating software architecture, technology stack, and innovative solutions.
- Adhere to high-quality software development principles, best practices, design patterns, and code documentation.
- Participate in peer-review of solution designs and related code.
- Expand the capability and usability of existing products to meet the changing needs of the key stakeholders.
- Update and research on new technologies, current state-of-the-art development tools and equipment, and opportunities for process improvement.
What we need from you:
- Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience building Frontend or Backend Systems.
- Experience deploying software on highly scalable platforms like AWS.
- An ability to contribute to a technical discussion and the openness to listen and learn from peers
- Have a good understanding of various software engineering design patterns
- Prior experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers will be a plus
- Start-up experience will be a plus
