As a software generalist on a small, efficient team, you will work closely with the entire company to improve our identity verification products and help keep our systems running smoothly. Some of those will responsibilities will include:
- Help design and build the next generation of our JSON APIs using Ruby and Postgresql.
- Help scale our existing systems to handle our increasing growth.
- Build tools to help improve our internal processes.
- Add functionality and refinements to our web dashboards.
- Propose creative solutions for improving our existing products and processes.
Requirements
- 2+ Years of professional software development experience
- Experience with relational databases / SQL
- Strong generalist excited to work with a variety of tools
- Desire to work on a small team with a lot of autonomy
Preferred
- 3-5 years professional software development experience
- Experience with Ruby
- DevOps experience
- Experience with HTMl/CSS/Javascript/React
- Experience building and scaling REST/JSON APIs
- Experience with Solr/Elasticsearch
