Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Remote USA)

• The engineering platform team is a remote-first team building the web platforms, data infrastructure, and developer APIs that shape how people understand and handle billions of dollars of insurance risk

On the engineering team, you will:

• Play a lead role in defining and building the systems and infrastructure so that it can scale effectively with the demands of engineering and data science efforts
• Focus on observability of production systems and services, ensuring that instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, logging, and dashboards are in place
• Work closely with engineers and data scientists to ensure new features and models are continuously delivered in a scalable and reliable manner
• Implement best practices for security and management of AWS organizations and accounts
• Implement, refine, and scale the processes and tooling required to consistently deliver the best user experience

About you:

Successful candidates will have the following attributes:

• 5+ years of overall experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure roles
• Significant experience with AWS, k8s, Docker, and Terraform. Experience with Vercel is a plus
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following: Python, Typescript, Java, Go, Rust
• Experience designing systems infrastructure and leading iterative development and deployment of new services and capabilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration
• Experience contributing to the culture and processes of a young engineering organization
