Job Description.
We are looking for a Senior Quant Analyst to join Pluang’s Singapore office, as part of the quant trading team. You will contribute to our automated trading business such as pricing algorithms, hedging models, risk management, and market-making using advanced statistical and machine learning approaches.
Responsibilities
- Performing systematic and quantitative analysis of order flow and market data in crypto and equities.
- Research and backtest new trading ideas to pricing, execution, and hedging algorithms which facilitates the market-making
- Conduct post-trade analysis of trading strategies
- Provide dynamic feedback and monitoring of the market condition, risk exposure, and P&L
- Collaborate with data scientists, traders, and developers to ensure an agile implementation process and facilitate innovative ideas.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, financial engineering, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physics and etc
- 3+ years of experience in quantitative trader/researcher/analyst position
- Trading experiences in executing strategy, market making, and tick-data alpha mining is preferred but not required
- Proficient in at least one programming tool for analysis. Python is strongly preferred
- Experience in handling large data sets using Python, SQL, and NoSQL
- Passionate to explore and use new technologies fast during project design and development
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with good attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in an international team environment
- Ability to be agile and flexible in adapting to a dynamic environment
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Junior Quant Analyst
