Destruction Lab. We’ve raised three rounds of funding and approximately $80 million to date.

About the job

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team to lead our Active Investing product area.

Unlike most Robo-advisors, our product picks stocks monthly by predicting future fundamental metrics of a company, such as sales or profits. Our users install our app, open a new investment account, fund it, and watch our system pick stocks on their behalf.

You’ll work across engineering, design, and other partners to ensure our vision, products, and progress are well understood.

There are a lot of challenges working at a small, fast-growing startup like Delphia. We learn a lot about our users and iterate fast to build better.

We optimize for remote work -- while we do have an office in downtown Toronto, we have team members across many countries and continents. We do a lot to stay connected and keep everyone clear on why every item in our roadmap is essential. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Driving product outcomes. NPS and WAU/MAU
• Working in a leadership triad. Be responsible for managing execution risks.
• Get into the weeds. Working with design and engineering to understand customers’ needs. Make decisions to help your team make progress towards our objectives.
• Participating in ideation. Research product opportunities and shaping solutions so we can ship fast.
• Set team-level priorities. Using qualitative and quantitative analysis to decide what to work on next.
• Establish principles. Build fluency about your product area throughout our organization. Boil down your plan in a way that’s easy to digest, which will inform your teams’ day-to-day decisions.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• At least four years of experience building and shipping high-quality consumer products
• At least two years of experience in a B2C FinTech
• Passion for financial products and improving people’s financial lives
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Familiarity using research and product analytics to guide decision making

Bonus points:

• Building a product from zero to one
• Experience starting or scaling a successful startup

Within one month, you’ll

• Get oriented. You’ll meet everyone and focus on relationship building.
• You’ll build a bunch of knowledge about our customers, product, business, and more
• You’ll start leading your cross-functional team.

Within three months, you’ll

• Develop empowered product specs for new projects
• Bring at least one release to market, learn from the results, and iterate until we get it right
• Connect your day to day work to our multi-year roadmap and ensure we’re staying aligned long term
• Stay accountable to quarterly goals you help craft for your team

Within six months, you will

• Have a deep understanding of our users’ behavior
• Be the expert in the company on the competitor landscape
• Make some fundamental improvements to the way we do product management
