Our core product offering helps automate lending operations for financial services firms across the lending value chain. Debt has such a massive impact on consumers and prior to Prodigal, the industry was saddled with painful, low value manual workflows, and poor customer experience. What will you be doing?

• As a Senior NLP Engineer on our growing AI/ML team, you will take on a leading role in building the NLP backbone used in Prodigal's Conversational Intelligence products.

• Be hands-on in building NLP models that can be applied to multiple products and thereby set the vision for the entire team about using state-of-the-art NLP on the large datasets that we have.

• Collaborate with the team to improve our high-performance speech recognition models

• As a core part of the Prodigal team, you will help in making decisions around the architectures and systems to use for our ML technology to have best-in-class accuracy at real-time speeds

• Keep pace with new exciting developments in the field in industry and academia alike and to adopt interesting approaches to solve problems relevant to us

• Design and set up processes for gathering, cleaning and annotating data required for model building

What are we looking for in you?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or similar. Master's is preferred but not required.

• 4+ years of experience using machine learning or other NLP techniques, including but not limited to Deep Learning

• 4+ years of experience implementing machine learning related techniques using Python or other popular programming languages / tool kits

• 2+ years of experience in building production grade NLP models on conversational data (preferably on audio conversational data)

• Familiarity with Deep Learning and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow etc.

• Experience working in data or applied science in a consumer product company
