The Role
Reporting to the Co-CMOs, this role will be responsible for the overall measurement and reporting of digital marketing effectiveness. Data-led and customer-focused, this individual is passionate about building frameworks and making recommendations that will influence growth and retention strategies, and improve marketing campaign effectiveness, from top to bottom of the marketing & sales funnel. The ideal candidate thrives in a building environment with a growth mindset. They are a self-starter who can think strategically, act tactically, and enjoys iterative collaboration with colleagues. Over time, as LTSE marketing matures, this role can grow to include multi-channel integration of the VOC along with behavioral analytics.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Co-CMOs to develop the overall strategic LTSE digital marketing analysis framework–top to bottom of the funnel.
- Determine and track metrics to measure progress to advance team performance and channel success.
- Build strategic analytic dashboards across the full marketing tech stack, and make recommendations to optimize performance, drive revenue, and increase marketing efficiency.
- Create compelling data stories, and be able to effectively present those to leaders.
- Provide insights to affect customer journey experiences that deliver value, outcomes, and drive business results.
- Regularly and systematically use analytics and client feedback to uncover opportunities, track and optimize KPIs, and drive decision making.
- Partner with web channel lead and customer segment heads to understand business goals, and bring together analysis and measurement.
- Proactively identify and interpret key marketing and media performance drivers, and deliver insights to channel, and B2B segment owners, to optimize spend and performance of media, as aligned with business goals.
- Work with colleagues and agency partners to analyze customer data for email, paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, SEO, etc. Influence the research, reporting, and experimentation needed to build pipeline (including scoring leads), growth, and drive ROI.
- Drive insights from Google Analytics across web channel audiences to uncover trends and opportunities. Implement G.A.4.
- Provide analysis and reporting on SEO results on LTSE web channel, improving technical aspects, and partner across Marketing to deliver insights to drive continuous content development and adjustments.
- As marketing matures, evaluate and make suggestions to Co-CMOs for the marketing tech stack, and lead implementation of new tools and platforms. This could include use of outside technology consultants.
- Leverage CRM system (Hubspot) to drive insights into customer behavior and improve attribution between sales and marketing.
- Manage contracts and budgets across marketing tech stack and work with CMOs and finance to manage integrated marketing budget.
Education and Experience
- 5+ years marketing experience, ideally in the B2B SaaS space.
- 8 years experience in digital marketing analytics, must include measuring performance of email, site, paid search and display.
- Advanced level of proficiency with marketing and sales technology platforms such as Hubspot, Google Analytics and Search Console suite, Salesforce, etc.
- Experience leveraging data visualization tools (such as QuickSight, Tableau, etc.) to create compelling stories for leadership of insights.
- Thorough understanding of channel mechanics, KPIs and best practices for email, e-commerce, paid media and retargeting; experience measuring campaign performance, list health and paid media ROAS.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience building measurement and testing plans, generating models for performance projections, and analyzing results.
- Excellent listening, and oral and written communication skills; must quickly understand program business objectives, and translate those goals into measurable, channel-specific success metrics.
- Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in extracting and manipulating data using SQL.
- Proficiency in data visualization using applications such as QuickSight, Tableau, etc.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- 5+ years of proven experience working with a modern marketing technology stack, including marketing automation platforms
