As a Senior Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to find the sweet spot between what the user wants, what the business goals are, and the technology available, and use it to create inspiring products that people love to use. Your daily activities would involve understanding user goals and creating the strategy that translates those into an interaction model and tapping into the breadth of insights from research and analytics teams, as well as other user-facing teams. As we believe that design is a team sport, you will regularly collaborate with cross-functional teams, proactively gather context, exchange ideas to develop creative solutions that match the overall objectives and goals.

• Ensuring that our user experience remains delightful and industry-leading while maintaining intuitiveness in all user interactions within the app
• Understanding of different user segments and their priorities in using our app
• Oversee the works, train, and coach more junior, designers
• Accountable for the design impact, present, defend, and getting stakeholders’ buy-in
Plan, execute, and analyze concept testing sessions
• Produce necessary outputs, and effectively communicate concept details to related team members
• Troubleshoot interaction related issues during visualization and development process
• Inform strategic design innovation directions based on user insights and business objectives
• Facilitate collaborative decision-making process with key stakeholders (product, business, ops, tech) in order to evaluate from multiple perspectives and constraints
• Facilitate co-design workshops to generate new ideas & concepts based on user insights.
Job Requirements:
• Between 3-5 years of work experience in product design or user experience projects
• A portfolio that showcases strong design strategy and conceptual skill, application of Human-Centered Design methodologies, and IXD best practices
• Proven ability in designing for different User Persona, especially schoolkids
• Good familiarity with concept development, workshop facilitation, and common user research methodologies
• Have a high curiosity and playfulness with tendencies towards experimentation
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that embraces ambiguity
• Comfortable using Figma, Miro, prototyping, and cloud-based remote testing tools
• Fluency in English communication (verbal and written).
