The Product

The Turing web application allows experts from across the world to run virtual experiments on products that millions of people use everyday. Our platform allows formulators for the first time to clearly see how small variations can affect the end result, while also painting a holistic picture of where their efforts are heading without needing to be physically present.

The Tech stack

Typescript/Node, React, Postgres, on the AWS cloud.

Within 1 month, you will...

• Work closely with our lead engineer to learn about our product and how our clients use it in their daily workflow
• Implement minor features to get accustomed to the codebase
• Learn more about the CPG industry and how Turing is solving their problems
• Document your experience for future additions to our team!

Within 3 months, you will...

• Work with our founders to define future product features and timelines
• Assist in setting our development rhythm and process
• Document and implement industry best practices for team
• Begin to architect solutions to our larger issues at hand such as ETL data loaders & containerizing services

Within 12 months you will...

• Manage an outsourced team to build out business logic in our front end application
• Continue to improve on our cloud infrastructure to meet our customer needs
• Design solutions for the larger problems our customers are facing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Knowledge of REST and API design best practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructures
