What we're looking for:
We’re looking for a frontend engineer who loves to build products and developer tools. You will build components that shoppers will use to pay for their groceries. You will also build tools and software development kits (SDK) that other engineers will use to build intuitive shopping experiences.
Responsibilities:

Develop user-facing features for our Merchant Dashboard and Fully-Hosted Checkoutsolution, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing experience for our customers.

Create and maintain a developer-facing Javascript SDK that empowers merchants' developers to build customizable checkout solutions.

Draft technical design documents for new initiatives, soliciting feedback from teammates to ensure the best possible solutions.

Implement monitoring and analytics tools across all front-end products to enhance visibility into system health and performance. Also, being comfortable interpreting this data in a tool like Datadog.

Participate in code reviews, ensuring healthy repo evolution and that acceptance criteria have been met before releasing new features.

Keep internal and merchant-facing product documentation up-to-date and in sync with all code changes.

Collaborate with other teams, such as Business Development and Finance, to create dashboards and tools that support their needs.

Be on-call approximately one week per quarter to address any urgent front-end issues.

Identify opportunities to improve the internal developer experience and increase release velocity.

Stay informed about the latest frontend technologies and industry trends, continuously improving our products and your skill set.
Qualifications:

A strong engineering background and interest in user-centered design.

Highly proficient in TypeScript and React

You are proactive and self-driven.

You have experience influencing, planning, and scoping large software projects.

Deep understanding of web technologies, the DOM & its modern APIs and frameworks.

Offer:
As of 5/18/23, if we hire you in San Francisco, your base salary would fall within the bands below. Please keep in mind that the equity portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.
