Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join us on our mission to make audio content creation seamlessly easy and collaborative. You will work with directly with our CTO and the entire engineering team to own building out the Wondercraft editor, to build the best audio (and more) editing experience. The Job Description will continue to evolve, but these are the key areas of responsibilities for now:

• Work with the founders & product team to materialize designs into a clean, functional, and reactive front-end
• Build using Next.js, Typescript, React, and some low-level canvas APIs

We are looking for someone who:

• Is excited by the ability to build a state of the art media editing suite
• Is a great communicator and a logical thinker
• Isn’t afraid to experiment, fail, and iterate
• Is ready to go at full speed with the team
• Is proficient in with prevailing frontend technologies, but is framework agnostic and understands the basics
• Is ready to join the mission of a small team taking on a big industry
• Is interested in AI advancements
• Has startup experience (huge plus)
• Has built something like this for a startup like ours (huge plus)

• Salary range £110K-£125K depending on seniority level. We are keen to compensate for the value you create!

• Hybrid working. We would prefer to all work together in our office in central London because we believe face-to-face contact time is essential for us growing together a team. That said, we don’t mind if you work from home one or two days a week.

Wondercraft was founded by a team of that comes from Palantir and Spotify. Our head of design was the first designer at Canva and helped grow it to a $45b valuation.
