What You'll Do
We are looking for a front end engineer to join our team to:
- Take complex interactions patterns and break them down into individual composable components to be developed;
- Help build the components in our design system as well as the customization experience around them;
- Write tests to ensure our high-quality standards are enforced;
- Contribute to the development of our development patterns and APIs;
- Perform code reviews;
- Write technical documentation on implementation and usage;
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building client-facing web applications;
- Experience with Typescript required;
- Experience with React required;
- Experience with modern web technologies (E.g. HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Webpack, Node, NPM, etc)
- Experience with modern testing frameworks likes Jest;
- Experience with best-practices of component development;
- A very strong product and design sensibility with a high level of attention to pixel perfect implementation details;
- Good communicator that can explain technical concepts to peers;
- Experience standardizing repeatable blocks of work;
CI/CD systems experience;
Nice To Have
- Experience building a large-scale design system - Huge plus;
- Experience building open source projects;
- Experience implementing a11y standards on the web;
- Experience with product design;
