EasyPost is looking for a Director of Corporate FP&A to join our growing team.Your primary focus will be to define and improve our financial forecasting model to optimize for accuracy, ease of understanding outputs and ease of use. You’ll be responsible for building partnerships with various other departments in the company to forecast revenues and costs using historical data.
What You'll Do:
Be a trusted advisor to proactively collaborate, influence, and align the company’s planning processes to achieve the overall company strategy.
The analytical hub that enables data driven decision making throughout the organization
Develop data controls to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting.
Run scenario analytics for multiple ranges of key metrics and financial data points.
Refine our revenue forecasting for all current and potential growth channels, driving accuracy and identifying sustainable growth drivers
Understand current / historic performance of key metrics to create the weekly KPI presentation to identify trends, business shifts, areas of concern and areas of strength for the executive team
Own monthly rolling forecast consolidations and drive that timeline with the FP&A team and broader cross-functional partners
Continue to improve the revenue forecast and KPI creation to drive efficiencies and deliver added insights to the business
Directly responsible for budgeting, forecasting and understanding trends for all departments within the company
Support investor relations, including board decks and investor updates
Investigate and communicate financial performance variance relative to expectations, partnering with respective departments across the company to gain add
About You:
Managerial experience
Previous experience with revenue forecasting, core metrics/KPIs, and partnering cross-functionally with an emphasis on understanding the business context behind the numbers is important
Extensive knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, the Google Doc suite with the ability to manage complex models, produce ad hoc reports
Knowledge of SQL, R or Python is a plus
Ability and comfort working cross-functionally
Effectively and efficient communicate with executives and various business leaders
Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, budgeting and other FP&A concepts
Self-starter, intellectually curious and a fast learner
