BlueCargo is building software to handle transportation of containers from the ports to the first warehouses by truck - also called first mile delivery. We are bringing the Freight Tech revolution.
About Blue Cargo
The startup was founded by two female entrepreneurs, graduated from Y Combinator (2018 batch), and has raised a 4 million seed round. We are at the beginning of an exciting growth phase where we have already developed product-market fit, a working platform, and hundreds of daily active users.
Opportunity
BlueCargo has hundreds of paying customers and we need to gather data from multiple different sources for their dashboard. We have different types of parsers and multiple databases which require constant monitoring as well notifications.
All of our stack is based on AWS( EC2, VPC, ElastiCache, Lambdas, RDS and ECS clusters). We use CircleCI for CI/CD and use docker for applications.
We need someone who will help us streamline and show us the best practices in Industry around CI/CD, monitoring and notifications. Help us setup new applications like pgbouncers and deploy new environment on demand. This role will be that of a founding Devops person who will give us the roadmap to streamline our infrastructure.
