Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join Pluang’s Singapore office. At Pluang, data is at the core of how we make decisions and build smarter products for millions of users. As a part of the data team, you will apply machine learning/AI techniques on massive data from all parts of our business to our products in innovative ways.
Responsibilities
- Adopt machine learning algorithms to solve problems across several teams including product, marketing, customer support, and compliance.
- Build statistical and machine learning models to analyze and predict user behavior
- Develop algorithms and tools that help users understand their financial health as well as assist in their financial planning and decision making.
- Deploy machine learning models to the production environment.
- Design and launch experiments to further grow the app.
Qualifications
- A graduate degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience working with products, design, marketing, and engineering to prioritize, scope, design, and deploy Machine Learning models.
- Familiar with machine learning API and computational libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, etc.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with Docker and Cloud infrastructure is a plus.
- Passionate to use all aspects of data science, machine learning, and technology to build the investment app of the future.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with good attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in an international team environment.
- Ability to be agile and flexible in adapting to a dynamic environment.
- Experience in productionizing machine learning models is a plus
- Interest in the investment or financial sector is a plus.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Junior Data Scientist
