We are looking for a talented senior backend software engineer to join our fast-growing, mental health startup. In this role you will help lead backend development for our healthcare platform. You’ll work with Python, Ruby, and Rust that are deployed on AWS.
We are primarily located in the US (ET time zone) and would prefer candidates who can provide 3-6 hours of overlap. We are looking for full--time engagements, and expect the project to last at least 3-6 months with potential long term extensions. Our team members have worked for companies such as Amazon, Citadel, Optiver, Palantir, among others.

🎯 Must haves
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience with in backend design and development
• Expertise in Python
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding on client and server-side performance optimization techniques
• You are not afraid of ambiguity and understand that the goal for a startup is to find the product-market fit and to learn from mistakes as soon as possible instead of building perfect products
