NFTScoring is on a mission to build the ultimate NFT trading platform. We give our 100k users the superpowers to understand the NFT market at any given moment, make the best decisions, and take faster actions. We are the first to bring strategies like high-frequency trading into the world of NFTs.

We are growing fast(plan to 4x our team in 2022). Part of the business team is in San Francisco, but the product & engineering team is located in Prague or remote. We have a beautiful office in Letná, with a grand terrace, ping-pong table 🏓 , VR headsets 🕹, indoor cycling trainer 🚴‍♂️, and free snacks 🍕

We’re now at a crucial stage in our journey as the activity in NFTs is exploding. Trading with NFTs is all about real-time data, fast aggregation, and robust architecture. We currently have around 100k monthly active users and still growing, and we need talented people to join the team and help us make high-frequency trading in NFTs possible.

In this role you will:

• Write mostly Python and Node.js with an emphasis on good design, tests, and performance.
• Work with PMs, designers and other engineers to build new features and improve the user experience on NFTScoring.
• Minimize downtime and latency across our application stack.
• Collaborate in a respectful team environment that is fully distributed

You might be a great fit for this role if:

• You have coding experience in Python and/or Node.js
• You know how to work with databases like MongoDB
• You’ve worked with Docker and know how to deploy an app to a server
• You are a strong generalist with fundamental computer science knowledge. You use this knowledge to easily adapt to new technologies and scenarios and to find the right solutions for the problems at hand.
• You have a background in building usable and performant applications.
• You have an understanding of distributed system design, or the drive to learn if you’re a more junior engineer. Our work is as much about understanding and designing systems as it is about coding in a particular language.
• You have great collaboration and communication skills. We work on the principle that the best output emerges from effective teamwork and respectful/constructive discussions.
