We're looking to bring on a Senior Android Engineer to help us get started with a big bet on our Voice platform in the new mobile app. As an Android Dev at Podium (YW16), you'll work on a cross-disciplinary team using your knowledge to build Android applications that are used by thousands of people each week. This role is fully remote and our team utilizes Kotlin and Jetpack. What you will be doing:
Implement designs to create applications for the Android platform
Attending daily standup and other meetings as needed
Communicate effectively and proactively with stakeholders about your work
Collaborate with team to plan and implement product roadmap
Focus on quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications
Use the latest technologies and Android APIs to create world-class applications
What you should have:
5+ years working as an mobile engineer with experience in Kotlin & Jetpack
Algorithms, data structures and coding background
Creative approach to testing and quality assurance
Experience with web infrastructure and distributed systems
Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms)
