About Business Unit:
Dell's Digital Core Business systems Organization is hiring Software Product Designers - to deliver on initiatives for enabling global Order Management and Finance Systems. Responsibilities will include, understanding the Product scope from Various business teams, splitting overall requirements into multiple features and stories, groom the stories with agile Feature/balanced teams, coordinating functional team activities, daily stand ups, managing requirements and providing business process guidance. You will play a defining role in the continuing evolution of Dell’s Core Business Systems
Key Responsibilities:
Produce high quality design artifacts that can serve as a benchmark.
Experienced in usability testing, design analytics, and strategy.
Educates partners like product management and engineering.
Can reframe industry best practices.
Assist with recruiting and hiring even at a leadership level.
Responsible for solutions and technology marketing activities designed to increase sales growth and expand market share.
Evaluates and adjusts product marketing strategies to respond to changing and/or competitive markets.
Define and analyze business problems; work closely with architects to align the most appropriate solution
Provides inputs to engineering teams based on client needs. Maintains relationships with and provides insight into customer requirements during the development process.
Manages product roadmap and product backlog; Maintains requirements traceability across feature teams.
Grooms and prioritizes features and functionalities and align with MBIs.
Defines acceptance criteria with teams. Attends Sprint Demo – accepts/rejects on behalf of customers
Maintains status of customer requirements for existing and future products/ solutions.
Supports product/ solution launch and provide sustaining efforts to enable quoting, validation, pricing, order entry, and fulfillment of products/ solutions under management via internal sales tool and external web stores.
Essential Requirements:
Experience working in Agile scrum teams
Scrum and product development knowledge
Experience: 8 to 12 Years in IT roles
Good Communications Skills
Preferred: Certified Scrum Master ( CSM )
Have depth and width of decision making maturity. Be able to gain trust & respect of engineering, dependent teams and stakeholders to deliver results
Ability to manage and influence team members without direct reporting authority
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment; work with minimal supervision while delivering on action items in a timely fashion
Take a user-centered approach to design perspective & practice.
Lead the product from discovery & framework through iterative development & delivery.
Guide product design decisions through user research, customer development & iterative feedback.
Bring in-depth knowledge & experience in research, visual design, consulting or development.
Strike the balance between user goals & business goals.
Be responsible for user research, wire framing, interaction design, prototyping & visual design.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers & Developers.
Well versed with Oracle Order to Cash Process
Strong functional knowledge in Oracle OM, AR, GL and EB Tax Modules
Experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes with Oracle Financials/Order Management
Desirable Requirements:
Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and software development lifecycle principles
SCRUM master certified
