About the role
We are seeking a Scientist to complement our founding team in developing and validating our novel chimeric antigen receptors within primary human cells and animal models (mouse & dog). In collaboration with the CSO and the lead immunologist, the candidate will design and execute their own R&D programs related to proof of concept and technological de-risking experiments to demonstrate new applications of our core technology and expand our patents. We would love to hear from you if you have experience in stem cell biology, immunology, synthetic biology, gene/protein engineering, or bioinformatics.
Qualifications
PhD in related field or 4+ years of related industry experience
Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with one or more of the following skills: mammalian cell culture, primary cell gene editing tools, standard molecular biology assays, multicolor flow cytometry, assay development, managing DNA sequencing datasets
Responsibilities
Leverage your area of expertise and work with the team to develop, guide, and execute an experimental strategy.
Document all work on an electronic lab notebook, interpret results, communicate findings with the team, and assist in preparing both scientific and investor presentations.
Participate in the preparation of manuscript or written reports of research advancements, grants, and other communications.
