As the Sales Operations Manager, you are the trusted partner for two segments of the MedCrypt business; Product Sales and Consulting Services. Reporting to the Head of Operations you will help identify and execute improvements to sales effectiveness, processes, and strategy. We need someone that can think strategically and execute with agility. You are a good fit for this role if you are an expert at building relationships, identifying gaps and opportunities, and delivering the resources, tools, and assets needed to sell successfully. You will partner directly with senior leadership to support the execution of the Product Sales and Consulting Services teams strategy and objectives by spearheading critical initiatives to help guide operational execution. You’ll collaborate with Product Sales, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Finance to identify areas of market opportunity, craft plans to capture those opportunities and reinforce the operational backbone of the teams.

What You’ll Do

Operations

  • Establish and embed critical metrics to guide the team’s behaviors and evaluate progress.
  • Administer and maintain data integrity of Salesforce.com, including implementation of Salesforce automation, Custom Fields, Custom Objects, Validation Rules, Workflow Rules, and Process Builder.
  • Develop sales reporting and automation of key performance metrics to help drive revenue and optimize MedCrypt’s sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist both the Consulting Services and Product Sales teams with gathering market data along with creating and distributing analytical reports and dashboards.
  • Manage, review, and audit the customer contracts process to include creating and implementing automations with the focus on documentation and tracking.
  • Develop data-driven insights and recommendations on the sales pipeline and targeting.
  • Work with Finance to support MedCrypt’s won/closed deal process from signed contract to invoicing and revenue recognition.

Project Management

  • Support sales leadership by driving critical projects and strategic initiatives to support revenue growth.
  • Using MedCrypt’s project management tool JIRA set up current and new client projects, identifying key stakeholders and managing timeline deliverables while overseeing resource needs.
  • Systematize best practices in the sales process and continuously improve critical workflows.
  • Identify education and tooling needs for the Consulting Services and Product Sales teams working cross-functionally throughout MedCrypt with a focus on revenue growth and team scaling.

Marketing

  • Working with the Marketing team to develop social media, email marketing, and sales marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and organizational awareness in the market.
  • Manage all sales related communications and promotional material to include newsletters, sales collateral, and the like.
  • Identify areas of market opportunity and gaps to prioritize customer segments accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience which involves analytical rigor and operational management typically seen in, but not restricted to, functions like Management Consulting, Sales/Business Operations or other similar functions.

  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com required, administrator experience preferred

  • Prior experience working with a start-up preferred but not required

  • Exceptional independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in changing situations

  • Have an “ownership” mindset and take initiative

  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Tools.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills e.g., modeling, v-lookups, pivot tables

  • Effective interpersonal skills. Able to communicate effectively across all levels of management.

  • Able to use both data and intuition to develop simple solutions to complex issues

  • Bonus: previous sales experience a plus with a desire to grow into a client facing role
