About the Position:
We are looking for someone with a solid foundation of technical knowledge paired with a strong business acumen to be our first Sales Engineer.
This person will likely be the main point of contact with our clients and will constantly review our success with each client from an objective, metric-driven perspective. The ideal candidate would be someone who can apply technical and domain knowledge to understand customer requirements, develop solutions, and present these them in a variety of formats.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Has a strong analytical background
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau
Knows what a t-test is
Open to travel nationally and internationally (30-50%)
Has experience in CPG and Retail Space
Customer facing experience with in-person sales, sales/solutions engineering
Has savvy presentation and demonstration skills, fluidly translating complex technology concepts
Wants to work at an exciting startup
As a Candidate, You Should Want To:
Save the B&M retailers by increasing the in-store experience while dramatically increasing labor efficiencies (via Deep Learning Computer Vision)
Fly to our clients from Europe and Australia, and convert these accounts to full chain deployments
Run POC's for the top 20 retailers in the world
Speak Statistics and Data Analysis languages (SQL / Python / Time series analysis / Mongo / regression / etc all a huge plus)
Work hard in a high-paced startup environment
