As a Sales Development Representative, you will partner with a designated team of Account Executives on outbound pipeline generation (PG) and our marketing Demand Generation team for inbound lead qualification. Your goal is to connect authentically with new buyers of Prodigal and source new pipeline for your AEs. This is a dynamic and rigorous position for a highly driven individual looking to start a career in software sales.

What will you be doing?

  • Set goals and build plans to deliver multiples of your new Opportunities quota. You think of quota as your minimum performance threshold, and live for upside and accelerators
  • Actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through effective networking and outreach, using genuine, sincere and strategic messaging to connect by phone, email and LinkedIn messaging as well as various conferences, trade shows and events throughout the year
  • Partner with your assigned Account Executives and marketing team to target new prospects, craft effective outreach, and initiate new relationships 
  • Become expert at connecting our solutions with a target company and buyer needs
  • Build out targeted account and contact lists to support new market entry, events, and campaigns
  • Constantly seek to improve your craft by seeking feedback, putting coaching into practice, and sharing great ideas with the broader team
  • Travel 1-2 times per quarter for industry events and sales team offsites
