Get to know the Role :
As the Head of Regional GrabMart Strategy & Planning, you will be the thought partner of country teams and regional leadership and be a key driver in influencing the overall strategic direction of GrabMart. Your role will include overseeing the strategy and operations of our groceries delivery business with co-ownership of the P&L and business objectives. We’re looking for people who are passionate about building businesses and are ready to roll up their sleeves to take on a wide range of challenges including strategy formulation, operational implementation, business development and people management. This role will be based in Singapore.
Job Description:
-Vision and Strategy: Responsible for the development and iteration of GrabMart’s vision, strategy, and roadmap to deliver on our customer value proposition within the groceries space.
-Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Drive alignment on strategy and implementation across the business, including with cross functional teams such as country operations, corporate finance, finance, product, engineering and analytics
-Strategic Projects: Strategy development, implementation and monitoring of high-impact strategic projects such as launch of new business lines or capabilities
-Team Development: Manage and develop an all-star Strategy & Planning team, including recruitment or grooming of critical capabilities and allocation of team resources
-Upwards Management: Communicate with management and other leaders to secure resources and commitments required to achieve our business objectives
Requirements:
-At least 8 years of experience in groceries, e-commerce, or a high performance environment (consulting, investment banking, start-ups, etc.) with experience in leading and managing a team
-Willing to be hands on as needed and proactively assume responsibilities and ownership including the ability to project manage multiple tasks or experiments
-Structured thought process and a strong analytical ability
-Effective communication skills in writing, presentation, negotiation and influencing
-Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment. Should have a deep desire to excel and develop a career in a fast growing tech company.
