Regional Business Operations a.k.a BizOps is a team of problem solvers in Grab who work on different projects across different countries and verticals in Grab to address critical business issues. These projects range across new business or feature launches, large-scale function transformation programs, or region-wide process improvement initiatives. The team is involved in strategizing as well as on the ground execution of ideas in alignment with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
The key highlight of this team/role is the opportunity to create an impact on strategy, unparalleled exposure to top management, working across a range of verticals and functions within SEA. The team is also known within Grab for its unique cohesive and collaborative work culture.
Get to know the Role:
• Project delivery
• End-to-end ownership and implementation of projects
• Understand the business requirements and define the project approach
• Work and align with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve the desired project goals
• Ensure timely execution of the projects and completion of project deliverables
Stakeholder management
• Conduct data-driven and qualitative analysis to provide recommendations
• Influence decision making with senior stakeholders as well as working teams
• Thought partnership
• Act as a thought partner to stakeholders and provide project inputs when needed
• Beyond project delivery & scope, pro-actively involve and contribute towards problem identification and resolution for overall improvement & optimization
The must-haves:
• Currently in Bachelor’s/Master’s degree at a top-tier school
• Candidates with prior internships esp. in Management/ Strategy Consulting/ Tech are preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work and navigate through dynamic/ complex environment
• A self-driven and motivated individual who can drive project progress
• Strong interpersonal/communications skills to be able to articulate problems and obtain buy-ins from different teams
