The Role
We’re looking for a Recruiting Team Lead that has process excellence, expert fundamental recruiting skills and the ability to deliver a top notch recruiting experience. In this role you will help develop our recruiting team and scale a top tier VC backed AI company! Your responsibilities will include:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand and attain hiring goals.
- Partner with our in-house Recruiters to develop end-to-end process excellence
- Strategize different ways to build candidate pipelines including tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns
- Support company hiring goals by proactively building a pipeline for top-priority and passive roles
- Partner with leadership to understand the competitive hiring landscape
- Deliver a top notch candidate experience for all AssemblyAI applicants and gather insightful recruiting data
- For the right candidate, this role has the opportunity to expand into the HR space
Requirements
- At least 7 years of in-house recruiting experience at a fast-growing company
- 2+ years of experience growing and managing top performing Talent Acquisition teams
- Experience sourcing / recruiting for technical talent at a B2B, SaaS, or Developer Tools company, preferably at a high-growth startup
- Successful track record of sourcing, evaluating, and closing high-quality technical candidates from entry to senior level
- Experience working with ATS systems (Workable, Greenhouse, Lever, etc.) and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Experience in creative sourcing through multiple channels (web, social/professional networks, etc.) to identify and attract top talent across different locations
- Knowledge of passive sourcing fundamentals, fluency with boolean logic, and ability to come up with creative sourcing techniques
Preferred Experience
- 10+ years of recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting in the Applied AI space (full stack developers, deep learning operations, and applied researchers)
- Experience recruiting in the Developer Tools & Developer API space
- Experience scaling, or seeing a recruiting department scale meaningfully (hundreds of FTEs)
