About the Company In a world where everything is available quickly at home, healthcare services are yet to catch up, and definitely true for diagnostics in urban India- we often have to wait a while to get tested, if not take our loved ones to the nearby lab even when they’re sick.

We asked the question- If we can get chips at home in 20 min, then why not get tested in 60 min?

This served as an inspiration for us to build Orange Health Labs. Combined with our market understanding, product chops and focus on operational excellence- Orange Health Labs has built high quality, reliable, on-demand diagnostic services for consumers across the country. Since our launch in Jan 2021, Orange Health has grown fast to become a cutting edge healthcare leader delivering a wow experience across the top metros of India, and becoming the highest rated lab in the country! We have our own labs, our own phlebotomists, medical teams and a technology forward innovative mindset!

With our deep understanding of primary healthcare and its opportunities, we are building Orange Health to become the infrastructure of remote healthcare in India, starting with making diagnostics on-demand.

Leadership

Founded by Dhruv Gupta (consumer tech entrepreneur with 2 successful exits) & Tarun Bhambra (experienced corporate leader and VC investor) have 15+ years of combined healthcare experience and have together built a profitable health-tech business, serving 100m+ users.

Along with the founders, we have a stellar leadership team with deep domain expertise helping us excel and drive innovation across all functions. We are backed by some of the world foremost VC investors like Accel, General Catalyst, Y Combinator, BII, along with marquee healthcare and global investors.

About the role

You will be required to lead one of our Product lines, be a subject matter expert in strategic focus area(s), identify the challenges our customers face and explore new opportunities to elevate our customer experience, build business cases that satisfy significant market needs, generate revenue opportunities and remove business related roadblocks to ensure successful product delivery on time and within scope. This cross-functional leadership position requires you to work closely with the Engineering, Design, Category Management, Marketing, and Finance teams to bring new products to life.

Our product team is led by Ajay Rajendran who has built products/businesses from scratch and has worked with some of the best known names in the Indian startup ecosystem ( PhonePe,Byju’s, Freecharge) and consists of folks who have worked with companies like Swiggy, cure.fit and are always keen on delivering a great user experience.

What will you get to do?

• Own the product roadmap, process & delivery to drive exponential growth.
• Take the product from '1 to 10' with a strong focus on leveraging tech to scale manual processes and deliver a stellar consumer experience.
• Translate the growth roadmap into detailed requirements and prototypes. Manage the backlog and the end delivery.
• Prioritise problem statements where the focus is on the reach, impact, and time-to-ship of a solution.
• Be the voice of the users, understand what they need, and educate concerned stakeholders.
• Prioritise experiments and product changes in close collaboration with engineering, marketing, product design, and success teams so as to move the needle across the entire funnel from new user acquisition all the way through customer retention and expansion.
• Perform rapid iterations with a fail-fast approach. Build rapid low-fidelity prototypes.
• Actively contribute towards growing the product culture at Orange Health.

Skills we are looking for

• Critical thinking: To make decisions about the product, the strategy and the allocation of time and resources.
• User Empathy: Ability to empathise with the user and build products that meet the user needs and do so very well.
• An understanding of UX: Need a thorough understanding of user experience principles and processes to foster better collaboration with the design team.
• Business savvy: Need a good dose of business acumen to develop a vision for the product that aligns with business goals.
• Technical expertise: Need a good handle on the technical side of the product development process to ensure that the product is built and tested according to the needed specifications.
• Consumer Research : Know the market inside-out to identify opportunities for growth.
• Ability to prioritize: To ensure that goals and deadlines are met, you need to determine what’s a high priority and what can wait.
• Communication skills: Excellent communication skills needed along with being an active and engaged listener.
