JOB DESCRIPTION
Job purpose:
As a product design intern at TicTag, you will get the opportunity to participate in the design process of software applications on both desktop and mobile. You will be responsible for translating complex business use cases into simple and functional user interfaces, as well as intuitive and elegant user experiences around Data Annotation. If you like the experience of designing a product from the ground up and taking ownership of the design of new features, then this position is perfect for you.
Job Description:
- Create visual artifacts to articulate, inform and validate ideas with end-users and stakeholders (prototypes, wireframes, sketches, journey maps, personas, etc.)
- Create intuitive and elegant product design solutions across desktop & mobile devices.
- Plan & conduct user interviews with potential users to understand how we can improve the user experience of our products.
- Plan & conduct usability testing for our products to identify usability issues and uncover possible areas for design improvement.
- Ideate solutions to solve user challenges.
- Collect and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research and translate insights from user research to validate design decisions for product features.
- Create functional specification documents for designs.
- Collaborate with Product Designers, Front-end & Back-end Engineers throughout the discovery, design, and development process.
- Ensure the developed end-product is consistent with product design and meets the business goals & user needs.
Job Requirements:
- Experience designing user interfaces using Figma in school/personal projects. Understand UI/UX design principles.
- Experience in Product Design principles and deliverables, including rapid prototyping, journey maps, detailed user flows
- Good understanding of data annotation and the various products in the Data Annotation industry.
- Basic understanding of the Agile Framework. Basic understanding of front-end development.
- Good communication skills, proactive in suggesting suitable improvements.
- Possess learning agility and the drive to learn.
