As a Product Designer, you will contribute your design expertise to help solve complex UX challenges for our customers. You'll also have the opportunity to influence Notabene's visual and brand language as well as design system.

In our design-led work environment you will be wearing many hats: from scoping new features, rapid prototyping, iterating at various levels of fidelity to working alongside engineers to ensure designs are built to spec.

What you'll be doing

• Own the design process, including: initial discovery, creating designs/specs at the appropriate level of fidelity, working with developers throughout the build process, and user testing after launch
• Work closely with Leads, Product Managers, and Engineers to create solutions that address user needs and business goals
• Work on building and managing the Notabene design system
• Produce the right design artifacts appropriately to the needs of the project, whether it be sketches, wireframes, site flows, low and high fidelity prototypes, high-quality visual design, etc.
• Use quantitative and qualitative research to inform your designs
• Serve as the customer voice and assertively advocate for the customer during technology discussions and decisions

What you'll bring

• 4 years of experience, owning the end to end product design process
• Excellent visual design skills and a high level understanding of visual solutions for all screen sizes
• Expert in using industry-standard design and prototyping tools (Figma)
• Understanding of design systems, and experience leveraging, and contributing to, design systems
• You enjoy exploring concepts, as well as defining and detailing designs for build
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, especially in a remote environment
• Experience collaborating with other designers and departments - you’re comfortable taking and incorporating feedback from other team membersYou are a self-starter, motivated to own and drive projects to completion
