About the role
As Cleancard’s first design hire you will report to the CEO and build out the design culture that we need to succeed with our hardware and software products. We are serious about our commitment to patients and user-centered design is critical to our mission. This role is based in our San Francisco office/laboratory.
As Product Design Lead, you will have ownership over design company-wide, including our style and design language. Our cancer diagnostic is bringing the advancements we have made in the lab to patients and you will work with our multidisciplinary science, engineering and product team to perfect patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead visual and user-centric design for our software products and user journeys.
- Work with hardware and product teams on the industrial design of our physical device.
- Ensure we have a unified brand image and design language across the company.
- Work closely with product teams on UI/UX challenges.
Key Qualifications
- Years of proven experience in software design (3+ Years)
- A design portfolio you can share.
- Interest in industrial design is required, with significant experience a major plus.
- Experiencing designing for both web and mobile platforms.
- A passion for improving patient outcomes and contributing to meaningful, impactful work.
- Thrive in in-person work cultures and will join us in our San Francisco office.
