Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile interfaces.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and define product requirements.
- Participate in user research activities, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
- Refine and iterate on designs based on feedback from the team and users.
- Support the design team in developing design systems, UI/UX guidelines, and maintaining design consistency across products.
- Use tools such as Figma, or other design software to create compelling visuals and design assets.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing innovative ideas to enhance the user experience.
- Assist in conducting competitive analysis and staying up-to-date on design trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent software.
- Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions.
- A creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and take constructive feedback.
- Portfolio showcasing design work (class projects, freelance, or personal work are acceptable).
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development (a plus, but not required).
- Experience with motion design or prototyping tools such as InVision, Principle, or Framer.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced startup environment.
