Data is core to how Nook makes decisions. We are looking for a talented, data-driven, and Product Analyst to join our growing team in Ho Chi Minh City. You will shape our analytics and guide our product roadmap quantitatively by establishing a culture of data centered excellence across the company. Your work will help construction workers earn more money, level up their skills, and find work on demand.
As our first Product Analyst, you will solve a unique set of data and product challenges presented by the nature of a two-sided marketplace and working with blue-collar workers. The data function at Nook is an equal partner to product, engineering, and design. You’ll tackle a broad range of product and business problems: uncovering unique insights on both sides of the marketplace, identifying the right growth strategies, guiding critical product improvements, and driving revenue results. You’ll work deeply with founders and leaders across the startup to develop insights that inform strategy and decision-making across our entire business.

Who you are:
- You’re ready to take end-to-end ownership of metrics and data pipeline
- Able to decompose abstract business goals such as “how to increase matches” into measurable metrics, understand business processes, clearly tell others about the results of the analysis
- Keen on designing AB/multivariate test and experimentation frameworks to to draw actionable insights and conclusions
- Able to explain complex concepts in simple terms; you can present findings to the entire team
- Passionate about helping people and eager to roll up your sleeves to do what it takes to ship products and features our users love
- Been a part of a high function product team with a talent for data pipeline, analytics, and reporting
What you'll be doing?
- Take high level ideas from metric conception through execution and data wrangling
- Partner with our founders and the rest of the small team across a wide range of functions: engineering, sales, and operations

Qualifications
An ideal candidate for the Product Analyst position hinges on the below qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a data engineering, data science, or analytics role, ideally at a startup
- Fluency in English & Vietnamese
- Ability to write efficient SQL queries on large datasets; Python/R/SAS is a plus
- Experienced in developing interactive reports in DataStudio, Amplitude, or other data visualization tools like --Tableau or even Shiny
- Detail-oriented and be able to understand the bigger picture by using your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities
- A passion for solving complex problems and helping construction workers make a better living
