We’re looking for an experienced, innovative, and strategic principal product designer to join us and be the first hire in our design team. The ideal candidate is excited to solve difficult problems at a fast pace in a supportive environment. You’ll work closely with our founders, engineers and, of course, users to shape the product vision and build the world’s best inventory management platform.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience as a designer, preferably within an B2B early stage startup!
- Experience working with data-heavy products such as dashboards, especially when the end user is not highly numerical
- Someone who loves to collaborate & debate with cross-functional teams and communicate design decisions effectively
Your responsibilities
- Design a complete product area within autone, from start to end.
- You’ll continuously use analytics, user testing and learnings to inform new design projects with qualitative and quantitative data.
- Make design decisions with a deep understanding of the customer persona and the entire end-to-end user experience.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional autoners to create concepts to meet their goals and expectations.
*Work closely with the engineering team throughout the build and launch and be responsible for maintaining a high standard for our digital touchpoints, from concept to execution.
- You’ll gladly jump in on additional brand projects as needed, including campaign creative, event branding, presentation decks, etc. We’re a startup, and we enjoy being scrappy!
What you’ll bring
- Experience in developing SaaS product (B2B experience is a plus)
- Experience developing brand standards, guidelines and documentation, and design systems for interactive use cases
- Experience designing beautiful and creative interactive user experiences
- Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and all the current tools of the trade
- Ability to work well on an egoless, highly collaborative, and cross-functional team
- Strategic and conceptual thinking; exploring new expressions for the brand experience, always focused on the "why" and the outcome for customers and users

Flexible PTO policy
- One of autone’s core values is Transparency. To live by that value, we’ve decided to disclose salary ranges in all of our job postings. The salary range for this role is £70,000 to £90,000.
