We are looking for a People Generalist to join our People & Organizational Development (POD) Team. Reporting to the Director, People Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting our People team as we begin to build our Webflow Mexico operations across our G&A+, EPD, and our GTM teams. You will serve as the subject matter expert on HR and labor relations within the region. This role is essential to support our organization’s compliance with Mexican employment laws, and to assist in implementing and supporting effective HR programs related to benefits, employee relations, performance management, and more.

The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. The specific base pay within this range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills. As a People Generalist, you’ll provide…
- Labor Relations and Compliance: Expertly navigate Mexican labor laws, regulations, and ensure compliance with employment policies. Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, legal risks, and dispute resolution.
- HR Processes & Program Management : Support key HR initiatives including compensation and benefits programs, onboarding, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Benefits and Perks Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and provide feedback on our programs and initiatives to align with company policies and employee expectations in Mexico.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Work with our Employee Experience team to lead initiatives that drive employee engagement, DEIB, and foster a positive work environment for our Mexico team. Utilize feedback mechanisms such as surveys and 1:1s to inform strategies.
- Workforce Planning: Provide HR support to People Business Partners for workforce planning and helping to shape career development pathways.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments, including Benefits, Legal, and People Operations, to ensure smooth HR operations across Mexico.

About you:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a HR Generalist role, preferably within Mexico.
- Expertise in Mexican labor laws and compliance.
- Fluent in Spanish with strong English proficiency.
- Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and benefits.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS (e.g., Workday), and comfortable with data reporting and analysis.
