We've also been 90% remote since 2016 and our team is spread across 9 different countries.
About the Role This is our FIRST partnership hire with lots of responsibilities and potential to grow in scope into a newly formed Business Development team. This is a foundational role with direct relationship with the CEO.
For this role, you will be responsible for a variety of business development initiatives with direct business impact including: Identifying new partnership opportunities: you will work with our CEO to identify high value partners that serve our personas and prioritize these opportunities based on revenue potential Negotiating new partnership deals: you will develop a good understanding of the value Bonsai can bring to our partners and lead our discussions to get a deal done, whether it has technical or financial implications Onboarding new partners: you will be responsible for onboarding new partners and ensure Bonsai get value from newly formed partnerships from day 1 by providing partners with all the resources they need Developing partner relationships: you will strive to find new opportunities to develop with existing partners to maximise partnerships value Managing our partnership channel operations: you will constantly think about how to automate some task to make your life easier (automated payout process, reporting) or optimise conversion funnels (automated landing pages, emailing, ...).
Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience in business development / partnerships Strong analytical and data processing skills Experience with B2B SaaS Business minded - You tie every decision and initiatives to a business or revenue goal Action oriented - You strive to deliver every day and keep high velocity. You don't hesitate to get your hands dirty to get things moving when you are stuck needing outside help of resources. Organized - You strive with or without complexity and resources. You know how to prioritize and lead initiatives with several stakeholders Bi-lingual in English
