About Factored Quality:

At Factored, we're building one of the last missing pieces of modern commerce infrastructure: a platform for consumer brands to manage their quality control inspections.

Factored was started by a team of software engineers, data scientists, and supply chain managers - all focused on one goal: enable entrepreneurs to bring their products to market faster, simpler, and cheaper. We worry about managing brands’ quality control so they don't have to. We aim to redefine how quality control is managed, and need strong engineers to make it happen.

At FQ, you’ll support every aspect of the core business operations, developing a holistic understanding of our customers and product. We're looking for people who are passionate about creating the future of commerce enablement and building the tools needed to help people quit their day jobs to start new e-commerce businesses.

Our team is composed of 10 folks across our US, European, and Hong Kong offices. We've raised more than $5 Million to date from an incredible team of investors and operators like Amity Ventures, Dynamo Ventures, and Y-Combinator.

What We’re Looking For:

Factored Quality is searching for an Operations Associate to join the team. Our ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Has a flexible can-do attitude being able to flex and pivot your style depending on the business needs
  • You have the courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it
  • A problem solver through and through - solutions focused
  • 2+ years experience in a startup ideally within product operations or supply chain operations.
  • Understanding/ experience working on quality control, factory /manufacturing , or product development at a DTC/ CPG

The Job:

We’re looking to bring on an Operations Associate to help Factored Quality navigate its next stage of growth.

Core categories of responsibilities for this role will be to serve as point for:

  • Own end-to-end over between 50-100 inspections a month for the regions and customers assigned to you
  • Ensure agent sourcing and training, inspection execution, and report creation is executed flawlessly. When needed, join inspections on-site to ensure the quality of partners & and the inspection itself
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, working. collaboratively with different team members across the business
  • Manage relationships with customers→ to ensure customers are happy with the process of booking, executing and analyzing inspection results. We are small, meaning you are the face of the company→ and do whatever it takes to make the customers happy
  • Drive customer retention and scale along with the NA lead and Head of Operations. We work with OKRs → we measure success by results, efforts are valued, but results are what counts
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures: Participate in product and process improvement workshops → we are constantly evolving our SOP to drive customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. As a frontline fighter, your input is valued and sought after
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across the FQ organization to support overall business operations & missions. Specifically, work with the Product team on platform improvements based on learnings & customer feedback.
  • When needed, traveling might be needed to our partners’ and customers’ locations to review and accompany on-site inspections

Working Hours:

Because our team is global, there are meetings that are scheduled outside of traditional 9-5 working hours. That being said, we trust all team members to manage their schedules and to take appropriate measures to take care of themselves and their wellbeing.
