The Role
MedCrypt is looking for a talented Native Software Engineer who will work closely with the DevOps and Engineering Teams as well as the VP of Operations and Security to build, manage and automate our native software build pipelines and physical-server software installation and update tools.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Improve existing native software build pipelines
- Improve existing physical server installation and update tools
- Build new build pipeline and server installation and update tools
- Manage cross-platform build configurations and scripting tools
- Add new target platform build capabilities
- Manage Jenkins Maven and Gradle build workflows
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of cross-platform toolchain experience, cmake, automake
- Extensive build pipeline experience for standard C and C++ libraries
- Strong of experience building and managing physical (nix server systems)
- Experience managing unix operating system installations on physical hardware
- Experience with native build automation
- Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
- Strong bias for action and ownership
Bonus
- Experience with administering FreeBSD operating systems
- Experience with TPM 2.0
- Experience with HSMs and PKCS11
- Experience with Gitlab
- Previous startup experience would be a huge plus

We are remote first! Our headquarters are in San Diego, California, but we are flexible in terms of where you want to be! We currently also have team members in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We cannot currently sponsor new work visas. We are hiring people eligible to work in the US.
