Key Responsibilities
Planning
• Develop seasonal ranges for GCA market (China/TW/HK), launch flows, and comprehensive range structure
• Implement category development plan in alignment with a global vision
• Contribute to a fluid commercial input process with full cross-functional collaboration taking into account regional needs and customer/consumer insights
• Transfer product knowledge to sales & marketing teams to ensure consistent understanding of products/key concepts to be able to present a professional image in front of both customers and consumers.
Management
• Be a means of contact and communication with Global BU
• Prepare and organize sales training, KA pre-lines, trade meeting presentations, tools, and packages
• Coordinate and communicate with global (and regional) colleagues for category plans, performance, and review
• Work with customers to have the high quality of product assortment every season
• Work with retail customers to execute the integrated go to market plan to drive the retail sales
Financial
• Ensure products achieve target standard (list) margins
• Assumes responsibility for P/L (up to list margin) of aG
System and Processes
• Implement seasonal preparation process to facilitate company business cycle
• Conduct sample management according to the sample management process
• Maintain all category-relevant systems and files such as Master Calendar files/forecasting, DMT, RMA, etc.
• Co-ordinate category communications, promotion, product, retail, and trade marketing activities to deliver a clear and consistent message to consumers, the trade, and Adidas staff in the region
Training and Development
• To some extent, actively participate in departmental level trainings and development initiatives and activities
• Through the internal communications team, communicate category marketing information and initiatives to the entire company in a timely fashion

• Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
• Functional – 3-5 years of proven marketing experience with 2 years at mid-level with major FMCG, sports, or Retail companies
• Bachelor's Degree in business-related discipline is required
• Industry – Ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG
• Exposure – Sports, brand/category marketing, trade marketing
• Relevant China marketing experience- preferred
