Job description
PubNub is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to drive strategic marketing initiatives as part of the Business Operations and Analytics team. In this role, you will execute against the overall vision of the go-to-market playbook and promote new efficiencies in our marketing operations. You believe in process compliance and data governance as core elements that drive customer engagement. You have a proven ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment in close alignment with the Sales, Marketing, and Analytics teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the lead lifecycle, from acquisition through qualification
- Work with cross-functional partners to maintain marketing processes in various marketing automation tools, Marketo, SFDC, DemandBase, and other third-party tools
- Optimize operational workflows using Marketo to improve conversion at each stage of the funnel
- Ensure quality leads are being pushed through the marketing funnel by recommending and implementing new rules, programs, and metrics (e.g. lead scoring, smart lists, and campaigns)
- Establish, maintain, and optimize scalable marketing processes for campaign and lead generation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a demand generation or a marketing ops role
- Advanced experience working with Marketo and Salesforce
- First-hand experience in owning a lead database and managing lead source tracking
- Advanced understanding of the campaign management process, attribution and measurement, and marketing funnel management
- Ability to collaborate well with diverse partners, influence without direct authority, and build strong relationships across teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate complex business frameworks, processes, recommendations, and data to audiences across functions, teams, and organizational levels
- Structured thinker, with strong project management skills and attention to detail
